Church safety is more than awareness and response—it is responsibility. In today’s environment, churches must be spiritually grounded, tactically prepared, and legally informed. This course provides a foundational understanding of how Oklahoma law applies to volunteer church safety teams, ensuring that protection efforts are both effective and lawful.
Drawing from statutes including the Oklahoma Volunteer Protection Act, the Oklahoma Good Samaritan Act, and 21 OK Stat § 1289.25, this lesson equips you to operate confidently within the boundaries of the law. We will also examine updates such as Senate Bill 743 and relevant provisions of 22 OK Stat § 202.
